Winners: N500k #21DayChallenge 2025

The winners of 500k for our #21DayChallenge have emerged following another informative peer review session.

Torn Pages Of An E-Journal by Collins Undelikwo, the rara avis in the category, combined vivid imagery and witty expressions to take the reader through the writer’s musings during the challenge, and it won the prize for fiction.

ON CREATING MIRACLES: Reflections on AI, writing and social media by Victor Oladejo won the prize for nonfiction. “Another wonderful work…the voice of this one was totally different.  It has this rhythm and power about it, like one who knows what he is saying. The wordings were perfect and the pictures were thoughtfully placed to illustrate the points….” ~ Emmanuel Enaku

Emancipation by Becky O. Peleowo is the winning poem.  The writer has distinguished herself as the queen of poetry. This work, accompanied by a digital product, shows her talent, diligence and versatility.

Below is a breakdown of the nominations from the writers.

FICTION (200k)

  2. Torn Pages Of An E-Journal by Collins Undelikwo got 3 nominations from Becky, Victor and Isaac.
  3. A Synopsis of Alabaster Box: An Anthology of 10 Heartwarming Stories by Becky O. Peleowo received 2 nominations from Onisokumen and Emmanuel.
  4. Escape (Synopsis) by Isaac Kingsley got 1 nomination from Chukwuemeka.

NONFICTION (200K)

  1. No gree for anybody! by Emmanuel Enaku got 1 nomination from Becky.
  2. A Nation on Life Support by Joshua Popoola got 2 nominations from Chukwuemeka and Collins.
  3. The Crypto Landscape: Navigating The Shifts In 2025 by Onisokumen Imbre got 1 nomination from Joshua.
  4. Turning Off Noise, Turning On Growth: My 21-Day Story by Joshua Popoola got 1 nomination from Victor.
  5. ON CREATING MIRACLES: Reflections on AI, writing and social media by Victor Oladejo received 3 nominations from Onisokumen, Isaac and Emmanuel.

POETRY (100K)

  1. Emancipation by Becky O. Peleowo got 5 nominations from Chukwuemeka, Collins, Joshua, Isaac and Emmanuel.
  2. THE VICTIM OF GLAMOROUS TEMPTATION by Isaac Kingsley got 3 nominations from Onisokumen, Becky, and Victor.
